Your Journey With Stone Supermarket
From your kitchen drawings to installation of your granite or quartz kitchen worktops.
The Consultation
The Initial Stage
In the initial phase of getting your granite or quartz kitchen worktops, we will request a drawing of your kitchen, which must state all the relevant measurements including positioning of your hob and sink cut outs, drainer grooves and tap hole(s). We will calculate an accurate price for you. Due to the nature of our business model, we are able to give you a competitive price.
Choosing Your Granite Or Quartz
The Exciting Stage
To make the process of choosing the colour of your granite or quartz kitchen worktops easier, we will be keen to invite you to our headquarters in Coventry to look at and choose your granite or quartz slab(s). We will also be willing to send you a free sample if required. We strongly advise our prospective customers to admire the natural variation in granite and quartz worktops before you commit, especially if you are looking at going for granite or calacatta quartz worktops. Every granite and calacatta quartz slab has its’ own unique characteristics.
Arranging A Suitable Date
The Templating Stage
We will arrange the date of templating once our quote has been accepted by yourself and all the relevant paperwork signed. Creating templates is an important part of the process. We will visit your property to make templates to fit your kitchen. Templates are made from plastic sheets and are cut exactly to the dimensions of your kitchen layout. We will mark the location of your hob and sink cut outs, drainer grooves, tap hole and the position of joints. These are later used in our workshop to fabricate your granite or quartz kitchen worktops. The fabrication process of your granite or quartz kitchen worktops will commence at our Coventry base.
Scheduled Delivery
The Final Fitting Stage
Depending on the size of your kitchen and the number of granite or quartz worktops to be fitted, the fitting process may take up to 6 hours. For your peace-of-mind, all our procedures are Covid-19 secure. We will wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and take serious steps to maintain a good social distance.
